The simple rule I've used to hand off 10+ hours a week of grunt work to AI systems, and how you can copy it in your business in the next 30 days.
Not sure it fits your business?

While you're reading this, a business of mine is adding around 150 new product pages.
It's adding the internal linking, writing unique editorial for every page, emailing the best finds to my list at 11:00 AM on the dot, turning the top picks into carousels and reels, posting them across five platforms, and DMing anyone who comments so they're added to the email list.
It's a lot of work, and no one is lifting a finger to do it.
There's…
And last month, it did this every day without any issues while I was gallivanting around the globe.
Over the past month, whether I was hiking from Spit to Manly Beach in Sydney, nighttime junk boat sailing in Hong Kong, or sinking steins in Munich Beer Gardens, this system was adding new products and marketing without me having to check in.

The total running cost for this entire business? About $4 per day.
I've created a growth team of a virtual assistant, content writer, social media manager, and customer support for the same cost as a coffee every single day.
And the reason you don't have one isn't that you can't afford it, it's that everything you've been told about using AI is backwards and is holding you back from building systems that actually save you time.
In the next few minutes I'll show you the one rule that makes systems like this run without breaking, and why the way you've been using AI is exactly why it's given you nothing but slop.
Look, let's be real for a second, because I know that this all sounds too good to be true.
You've probably already tried to piece something together. Maybe not the full growth engine, but you've definitely messed around with the components.
You've tinkered with prompts, signed up for the latest tools, and watched some YouTube guru demonstrate an "agentic workflow" thinking you'd finally crack the code over the weekend.
But all you got for your trouble was total slop. Those generic, safe posts you'd never actually attach your brand to, automated follow-ups that everyone ignores, and a growing list of SaaS and AI subscriptions quietly draining your bank account for tools you haven't opened since March.
Sound familiar?
Don't beat yourself up, cause you're not the only person in that boat.
The failure here is not proof that AI is never going to work… it's proof that the guys out there doing a lot of the teaching have AI usage backwards.
In the next few minutes, I'll show you exactly why it's breaking and how to fix it.
And I want to start with the strangest part.
AI was supposed to buy back your time. It was supposed to be the great leveller, enabling even small businesses to build and act as if they were multinational companies.
But for 99% of the brands and founders I speak to, it's doing the opposite. It's producing slop that is frankly embarrassing.
And yet, the slop isn't even the expensive bit. Bad posts might make you cringe, but they're forgotten by your audience in minutes.
What's actually costing you is the hours you waste on "tweaking" AI.
Think about what those AI experiments you've spent time building have really eaten…
Every one of those hours you're wasting on building systems that fail, is work my $4/day AI growth team just… does.
The posts, emails, follow-ups, all of it quietly handled while I was off enjoying myself.
So, why is it that I can quickly build these kind of systems while smarter, bigger business owners are struggling to get anything that's actually useful from their AI?
It's all down to one simple rule and system I'll explain in a minute.
But before I show you the rule, you need the mindset shift that sits behind it.
Because the owners winning with AI aren't treating it like a tool to master. They're treating it like staff.
Think about how the big names actually spend their time…
The biggest entrepreneurs out there are not stuck in the weeds doing menial work.
They offload that to others, so they can focus on the big levers that add 00s to their revenue and valuation.
For years, that option didn't exist for the rest of us. The kind of team that buys you that headspace costs six figures a year, minimum. So you did the grunt work yourself, and the big levers waited while you were stuck in the weeds.
AI has obliterated that barrier. For the first time, you can get the output of a full team without a single hire, for the price of a coffee a day.
But that's clearly not what's happening for most owners, is it?
Most never get the team.
Instead, they end up with a second job, prompting, patching broken agents, babysitting the tools that were supposed to be saving them time.
They've traded one cage for another.
The difference between the cage and the team, between the bloke stuck re-prompting ChatGPT at midnight and me watching my business post, email, and follow-up by itself from a beer garden in Munich, is one rule.
Here's how it works.
I've been deep in the weeds with AI since day one, and I've been through the lot… prompts, custom GPTs, simple agents, and now fully automated systems that handle complex tasks end-to-end.
And all the success I've had with each iteration comes down to one guiding principle.
I call it the 10/80/10 rule.
It's the reason my systems keep running at a fraction of the cost of everyone else's expensive builds that constantly break.
If you let AI dictate the strategy and approach, you've already lost.
You have to decide what you're going to do, why you're doing it, and how it's going to be different from what's already out there.
AI defaults to the most common answer, and the most common answer is exactly what your market is already ignoring.
This first 10% is non-negotiable, and skipping it is why most "AI-first marketers" fail.
Your system needs fixed inputs, locked-in SOPs, and proven templates for the output.
AI excels within hard confines.
You want zero chance of the AI "going rogue" and making its own decisions, because it's terrible at them. A human sets the system, and the AI simply follows it, the same way an offshore VA follows a good SOP.
Remember the cage from earlier? This is the fix. The cage goes around the AI, not around you.
AI is a yes man. Let it check its own work and it'll tell you everything's brilliant while it publishes garbage under your name.
So the last 10% is your critical eye. You critique, you approve, and only then does anything go out the door. And then you decide how things can be improved. The AI does the grunt work, you stay in the driving seat.
Last week I spoke to a guy who'd spent an entire day trying to teach AI to sign up to his best leads' newsletters so he could offer free audits. It couldn't do it because hidden captcha checks blocked it at every turn.
Want to know how we fixed it?
AI pulled the list of sites, and he spent ten minutes opening the pages and pasting in his email by hand.
A full day wasted, solved by ten minutes of manual work.
That's what happens when you're so infatuated with what AI might do that you stop asking whether it should.
Do all this right, cage the AI inside 10/80/10 and point it at the right jobs, and the boring, menial, time-sink work happens with complete predictability.
Everyone else lets AI run the entire job and gets slop. You get hours back every day for the things that actually grow the business: the strategy, the deals, the partnerships. The stuff that needs a human.
Let me show you the rule in action with one of my systems: the social content engine I've used to revive dead accounts and pull 50,000 impressions inside two weeks.

It's built on a psychological principle called the mere exposure effect: people trust, and buy from, whoever they see most often. It's why Bartlett posts all day, why big brands pay for Super Bowl ads, and why that competitor you hate keeps showing up in your feed.
Familiarity feels like trust.
The problem is that earning it means daily content… and creating daily content is slow, painful, and not the thing that closes deals.
So here's how the system handles it, 10/80/10 all the way through.
One authentic piece of thinking that's undeniably you. A blog post, a video, even a four-minute voice note recorded while you walk the dog. That's the strategy and insight no machine can fake.
The system runs your idea through my "adoption lenses," a framework I built helping clients make millions through content, and turns that single insight into 7+ unique posts, each hitting a different angle for a different slice of your audience.
Then it schedules the lot for when your engagement peaks. Proven templates, locked SOPs, no rogue decisions.
You glance over the queue, approve it, and spend your time on the only part that matters, replying to the people who bite.
One thought from you becomes a week of content across five platforms. The grunt work that eats other owners' evenings is just... handled.
That's one member of your $5-a-day growth team, and it's the first one we build.
Running cost? The AI subscription I already pay, plus about $5 a month to host it. Hootsuite's entry plan alone is $100 a month, and it doesn't write a word for you.
And that's one system of the dozen I run. I also have others that do things like…
I want to install the five most impactful of them in your business, in the next 30 days.
So let me introduce you to the five hires we'll make together, one for each stage of how a business actually grows.
These five fit most businesses. But no two businesses sell the same way, so for this founder round I'm customising each install to how yours actually works. Likely these five, shaped to you.
And before your brain says "I'm not technical enough for this": there's no coding involved.
Every system comes as a proven template you install and shape to your business, with me walking you through every step on video.
If you can follow a recipe, you can build this team.
You tell it what you're working on and what you need to know. It mines your competitors, your customers' language, and the angles sitting unclaimed, then organises it all so you can decide. It's the legwork that used to be my retainer, and it makes every other hire smarter.
You've already met this one. One voice note from you becomes a week of content across your platforms, posted at peak times, growing the audience that feeds everything else.
It gives every interested visitor a personalised breakdown of their situation in exchange for their details, so strangers turn into named leads on your list while you sleep.
It takes those fresh leads and converts them into first-time buyers with a small, easy yes, because a customer who's paid you once is ten times easier to sell to again.
It watches your list, spots who's ready to buy more, and drafts the right promotion to the right people, then finds your happiest customers and helps turn them into referrals and reviews.
Five "hires". A research assistant, a content manager, a lead capturer, a closer's assistant, and an account manager, working your entire growth engine from first eyeball to referral.
Try putting that team on payroll. You wouldn't see change from $150k a year. This one can run for you for about $5 a day, in your voice, on your business, and it never hands in its notice.
Want to check it fits your business first?
Book a 15-minute fit checkAnd here's the part that matters long after the 30 days.
You don't just get the team. I'll teach you how to build and maintain your own agents forever.
Through the builds, you'll understand how these AI systems actually work…
All on a self-hosted setup you own, not rented seats on someone else's platform.
Which means no dependence on me, no panic when a platform shifts or a new model drops, and no team that hands in its notice. Most people who buy AI help stay hostage to whoever built it. You won't be.
It's a Tuesday morning. Your content went out at 8am, in your voice, on every platform, and you haven't opened Canva or Hootsuite in weeks.
Three new leads came in overnight from the quiz, already on your list, already warmed up. The promo your account manager drafted is going to the twelve people it flagged as ready to buy.
And you?
You're doing the work only you can do. The strategy call. The partnership conversation. The deal on the table.
The grunt work still happens every day. It just doesn't happen to you anymore.
That's what "the business runs while you drive it" actually looks like. Not a lifestyle fantasy, just the machinery doing its job. I know, because it's a normal Tuesday at my place.
One of the ~150 pages my system researched, wrote, linked and published that day. I never saw it.
I'm Pete Boyle. I've spent 13 years in growth marketing, building strategy and growth systems for brands of every size.
A few you can check...
"A single campaign Pete planned, executed, created, and optimized brought so many new customers to us that our support onboarding was flooded for days. If you get the chance to work with Pete, take it. You won't be disappointed."
"I highly recommend you to work with Pete. He's the best conversion strategist I've ever worked with. Pete's growth strategies are always effective because he doesn't just look at the individual components — he considers how each component in the system contributes to a seamless, compelling user journey."
Every one of those wins came from the same underlying framework.
I call it ACCER. Five connected stages built into one system that compounds, because one working system beats any single tactic every time.
ACCER is baked into the five hires we'll make together. You don't need to learn the theory. The systems carry it for you, the same thinking that produced the results above, running quietly in your business.
For 13 years, getting me to build this meant an agency retainer. Now the strategy's in the templates, the AI does the labour, and you keep the machine.
Let's tally what's actually on the table here.
The last time a client wanted me to build systems like these, it was a $3k+ a month retainer.
The going rate for one decent n8n build-out on Upwork is $500-1,500, and you're getting five, plus the ability to redo them forever.
Bring your half-built system or whatever's stuck and we work through it together. Four working sessions that on their own would out-price this whole thing at consulting rates.
Direct support from me and every other founder building these same systems, every answer within 24 business hours. Comparable memberships run $50-100 a month on their own.
The skills to tweak, extend and build your own systems from here, which is the bit nobody can take off you.
A single junior marketing hire would cost you $2,500+ a month, and they'd do a fraction of this before asking for a holiday.
That's about two months of one mediocre VA, for a growth team that never leaves and works round the clock.
One fair warning on costs… you'll need your own AI subscription (roughly $100/month) and about $5/month for hosting.
That's the whole running cost of your team. I'd rather you know now than find out after.
Most people are using AI poorly. In 30 days, you'll be using it to run your growth.
On the fence about whether it fits?

"Since working with Pete I have transformed the way I attract leads, with Facebook ads running at a profit on the front end, and have a strategy to grow my membership along with my online programmes. Pete has been a huge support in helping me to sense-check my thinking as well as enabling me to experiment quickly, encouraging me to put offers out there, rather than waiting for everything to be perfect (which leads to inaction)."
If you're in the first list, the next bit is for you.
Two promises, so there's no way to lose here.
First, the easy exit. Join, sit the first week's sessions, watch the first builds happen. If you decide this isn't for you, for any reason, email me by day 14 and I'll refund every penny. No call, no "quick chat to see if we can fix it," no questions. One email, full refund, done.
Second, the build promise. If you show up, do the builds, and your five systems aren't live and running by day 30, I'll get on a call and build them with you personally, at no cost, until they are. You leave with a working growth team or you don't leave, simple as that.
The worst case here is you spend two weeks looking inside, decide it's not for you, and get your money back. The other case is a growth team running your marketing for $5 a day.
"Pete is direct, transparent, prepared, and has zero fluff! While working with Pete, I secured 3 new paying clients at $7,500/month in 3 months. Shipped two new online workshops and also shipped 3 to 4 pieces of long-form content. Content takes time to build so we were always focused on near term goals while not losing the eye on long-term growth."
"Pete had set a goal of $15,000 for the product launch, and we reached nearly $14,000. While we didn't quite hit the target, Pete pointed out there was still room for growth — not just in revenue, but also in building the list further."
